Thirdspace Workshops with Theresa Sayner
Be inspired by Teresa Sayner, mixed-media artist, and explore your creative potential with a series of FREE workshops at thirdspace gallery, Rotherham Market. From mono printing and collaged self-portraits to altered books, mark-making, sketch-booking, and adding patterns, Teresa will guide you through the process of self-expression and discovering your individual artistic style. Take this opportunity to be creative and create something with your own hands.
Stuart Mitchell Exhibition
We are thrilled to invite you to an upcoming art exhibition at ROAR's Buzz Gallery, featuring the captivating sculptures of local artist, Stuart Mitchell. Mitchell's work is a reflection of his passion for the Earth and its natural beauty, as he creates sculptures using intricate rock formations, taking advantage of their unique and diverse shapes and textures. The exhibition aims to evoke a sense of awe and appreciation for the natural world.
ROAR Event: Open Door Music Sessions

We've teamed up with DINA Venue and Rotherham Music Services, set up by Mark Fell, to provide free, welcoming music sessions every Thursday at ROAR. BAMER Creative Network Meet-Up
Are you looking to connect with other individuals from the BAME community living or working in Rotherham? We invite you to join us at the BAMER Creative Network Meet-up on January 5th at thirdspace Gallery in Rotherham Market. From 11am to 2pm, you will have the opportunity to celebrate cultural diversity and heritage, engage in creative networking, sign up, and participate in an interactive photo exhibition where you can share your own images representing your cultural identity and heritage. You will also have the chance to meet new people and display your image in the gallery.
Ustad Sohail Live Performance
Join us for an unforgettable performance by the legendary Ustad Sohail Salamat. Sohail Salamat (born 1976) is a Pakistani musi- cian, and primarily a singer of Qawwali, a devotional music of the Sufis. Trained by his uncle Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan and his brother BJS Bbakshi Javaid Salamat in the art of classical music and Qawwali.

ROAR Event Drawing & Painting Weekly Meet
This winter, join artist Chris Slater for a weekly drawing and painting group at a local Rotherham pub! This free event is the perfect opportunity to explore your creative side, with no tutorials or rules – just come with your own supplies and paint or draw whatever you fancy. We'll be meeting every Thursday evening from 7pm, so join us for some fun!
Art Workshop: Painting Proportions
Ever painted or drawn from a photo only to discover that the proportions are all wrong and everything looks skewed and unnatural? Come join us at thirdspace this Saturday, November 26 from 10am-12pm for an upside down painting workshop with artist Greta Vilidaitė (RockStone Art) and learn how to paint or draw using the upside down method for more accurate proportions.
ROAR Event: Ride & Draw
We pedal towards the next stop on our Out & About Big Bike Revival adventure, this week trying out a camera obscura. Come along as we experiment with this novel drawing tool. As we ride, stop, and draw, we'll take life drawing to the next level.
Thirdspace Gallery: NEW Members Exhibition

The Big Bike Revival: Cycle With Confidence!
Our free Learn to Ride and Cycle Confidence session is the perfect place to start if you want to learn to ride a bike or get back into cycling after a long break! We're thrilled to be taking part in the Big Bike Revival! We are encouraging people to cycle more by fixing bikes, teaching skills and leading bike rides.
